Don Davis endorses Obama for America

(Snow Hill, North Carolina)–The Don Davis for N.C. Senate Committee announces the endorsement of U.S. Senator Barack Obama for President.

“I’m proud to share that I have endorsed U.S. Senator Obama for President. Americans and North Carolinians are in dire need of a visionary and dynamic leader. A leader who is able to bring different people to the table for serious discussions about public policy. Barack serves as a symbol of hope for the best of our nation and a positive role model for so many young adults. I also appreciate is position on the war,” said Snow Hill Mayor Don Davis, who is running for the North Carolina Senate.

U.S. Senator Obama has successfully won 30 contested races across the nation. He leads in the number of delegates with over 1,400.

Davis officially endorsed U.S. Senator Obama at the opening of his Greenville headquarters.

“There is a lot of excitement centered around the 2008 Presidential Election. I believe that people really want a change. Senator Obama is the person, who can help this change to become a reality,” Davis added.

The North Carolina Primary Election is May 6, 2008. Polls open this Thursday for early voting.
