Dear Goldsboro City Council,

With many challenges facing our community, it is important for us, more than ever, to stand united. We must collaborate to build healthy and enduring relationships with residents from different walks of life and backgrounds for the greater good. Although I was very excited to learn about the opportunity of sharing my expressions with regards to unity at the upcoming human relations banquet, I believe that it is more important, at this time, for us to heed the call for unity, which is the central theme of this occasion. Moreover, we must remain focused on appropriately recognizing the selected citizens for their outstanding achievements.
